Surface map and Data from the DataStreme project (click on the picture to go to the DataStreme page). The red lines with half circles on them indicate warm fronts, the blue lines with triangles on them indicate cold fronts. Shaded areas of blue, yellow and red indicate precipitation. The small circles at various cities provide weather data at that location. The amount of the little circle that is shaded indicates % cloud cover, the number at the 10:00 position is the temperatre (F), the number at the 8:00 position is the dew point, and at the 2:00 position is the pressure. The line coming out from the circle points is the direction that the wind is blowing FROM, and the small lines at the end of the wind direction line indicate wind speed (full = 10 knots, 1/2 = 5 knots).
